The School of Journalism & New Media anticipates filling some part-time / time-limited teaching positions at the adjunct faculty level for the 2023-2024 academic year in the following areas : Video Storytelling, Advertising, Public Relations, Integrated Marketing Communications, Sports Journalism, and Writing for Communications Fields.

Description :

Provide instruction for designated course(s). Develop assignments, create assessments, and actively support student learning. Write and proctor examinations. Provide feedback and instruction for examinations and assignments. Calculate and post mid-term and final grades. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

Minimum requirements for teaching an undergraduate course : master's degree in field. Minimum requirements for teaching graduate course : doctorate in field.

Preferred Qualifications :

Master's degree and one year of college teaching experience preferred.
