As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service while patrolling a commercial real estate location. What You'll Do : Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter potential risks and provide reassurance to staff, visitors, and / or tenants. Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises. Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and / or irregularities according to site procedures. Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as required during emergency situations or when additional support is needed. Minimum Requirements : An armed guard card or license is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
