Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
Responsible for Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and IntuneProvide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover proceduresLead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptionsResponsible for capacity, storage planning, and systems performanceWork with IT Leadership to develop financial plans and budgets based on alignment with technological innovation and industry-standard advancementAssociate or BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience requiredSystem administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other related fieldsStrong knowledge of systems and hardware, networking software and protocolsExperience with Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and KubernetesExperience with VMware, hypervisor servers, storage arrays, wireless access points, and standard data center networking equipmentProficient in Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, Intune, DNS, and related applicationsA proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plansStrong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocolsExcellent written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills4-6 years of network administration, system administration, and virtualization experienceThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.
