Job Summary :

The Quality Inspector verifies finished products meet quality standards, following the procedures outlined for inspection activities. This position works on location at any one the Maine facilities and reports to the Quality Supervisor.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Inspects finished products, products in-process, incoming materials, parts and assemblies for conformance with compliance. May include measuring, examining, testing, and / or gauging one or more characteristics of the product; comparing results with established requirements and specifications; and confirming compliance.
• Reports conditions requiring immediate attention.
• Verifies all materials used for daily production match the Bill of Material (BOM) / Requisition and verifies all documentation is completed correctly.
• Verifies each machine meets required processing specifications during production.
• Verifies all products pass quality inspections.
• Keeps records and completes reports indicating results of Inspections.
• Follows established safety rules and regulations.
• Follows documented policies and procedures.
• Maintain working knowledge of required regulations, processes and procedures, including ISO requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
