Job descriptionPerform repair and maintenance work on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks Service parts / equipment including chassis components; refuse bodies, including control, hydraulic, and electrical systems; air brake systems; general engine work; HVAC components; and suspension, drive train and steering systems. Maintain and repair highly intricate and powerful machinery. Troubleshoot and diagnose components as required. Collaborate with team members. Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety compliance procedures. 1.5+ years of experience performing heavy-duty, diesel mechanic job duties Able to obtain CDL or Class 6,7, or 8 license within 1 year of employment (test driving post repair) Ability to inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel / non-diesel trucks and equipment High School Diploma ASE Certified Active CDL or Class 6,7, or 8 license LNG and / or CNG knowledge and experience

- 1st Shift : Monday - Friday | 4am - 2pm
- 2nd Shift : Monday - Friday | 1pm - 11pm
Compensation : $27 - $38.16 + OT paid at 1.5x base | Annual Compensation : ~$77,000 - $109,000
OVERVIEW
Insight Global is seeking three Diesel Mechanics in Wilmington, DE to join a national, Fortune 500 environmental services and waste management client. In this role, you will be supporting a vast fleet of both diesel and non-diesel trucks, equipment, and other vehicles in the company fleet. Compensation : $27- $38.16. Exact compensation will depend on individual experience, licenses, certifications, and shift. This range does not reflect over time rates.
