Behavior Technician (ABA) – Clinic-Based | Durham, NC

Full-Time | $17.00–$21.00 / hr (based on experience & certification)

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 9 : 00 AM–6 : 00 PM

At the Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE) , Behavior Technicians provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to help children with autism build communication, social, and daily living skills.

No experience? We provide paid training and support you in earning your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.

Position Highlights

  • Setting : Clinic-based ABA therapy (Durham, NC)
  • Schedule : 9 : 00 AM–6 : 00 PM, Monday–Friday
  • Reports To : Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Status : Full-time, benefits eligible

What You’ll Do

  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in a clinic setting
  • Implement individualized treatment plans created by a supervising BCBA
  • Record accurate data during each therapy session using digital tools
  • Support the development of communication, social skills, and independence
  • Collaborate with clinical teammates and caregivers
  • Maintain a positive, engaging learning environment

    • What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Passion for working with children
  • Reliable, professional, and compassionate demeanor
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to participate in training and certification requirements
  • Must pass background check and required clearances

    • ( Experience with autism or childcare is a plus, but not required. )
