Job Description

Job Summary : The Logistics Expeditor is responsible for customer service, shipping and receiving of parts and is under the direct supervision of the Director of Materials and logistics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Source required repair parts.
• Generate purchase orders, track the items, close and receive POs.
• Issue parts to work orders.
• Ensure inventory is correct through parts issuance and cycle counts.
• Assist with vendor audits and vendor sourcing.
• Monitor heavy usage items and manage min / max ratios.
• Complete KPIs for ISO requirements.
• Create quotes.
• Confirm customer requirements.
• Liaise with all departments to be able to provide up to date information on work orders in progress.
• Audit paperwork for parts compliance.
• Maintain shelf life for calibrated tools and items with expiration dates.
• Provide assistance in the parts room.
• Create and close pick tickets.
• Create shipping BOLs.
• Coordinate sipping with customers and the wood shop.
• Ship small packages.
• Any other relative duties as assigned by the logistics manager or the Director of Materials and Logistics.
• May be required to work the second shift as needed.
