Cashier

Cashier Position

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing fuel and merchandise sales, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and providing excellent service to customers. This position plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of the station during your shift.

Key Responsibilities :

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Operate cash register and point-of-sale (POS) system to handle fuel and in-store purchases
• Accurately process cash, credit, and debit card transactions
• Monitor fuel pumps and handle pre-paid transactions
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, restrooms, and forecourt (pump area)
• Restock shelves, coolers, and displays with merchandise and beverages
• Follow safety procedures for handling fuel, cleaning products, and food items
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management promptly
• Perform opening and / or closing duties as assigned
• Prevent loss by following company policies and keeping an eye on suspicious activity
• Assist with basic food prep or handling of coffee / snack areas
