Job descriptionAccounting degree Experience with manufacturing cost accounting and inventory Experience with preparing account reconciliations and journal entries 5+ years of accounting experience, including month end close; Big 4 a plus Comfortable working in a Fast-Paced Environment Large ERP system (QAD a plus) Strong Excel skills a must Strong attention to detail Team player is a must with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Description
Responsibilities :
- Prepare month end journal entries to record inventory transactions, revaluation, PPV adjustments, absorption, SLOB and Book-To-Physical reserves, as well as additional entries as needed
- Coordinate monthly standard cost update
- Coordinate with IBM (offshore team) to review and record inventory journal entries
- Support plant & divisional controllers including researching issues and preparing analytics
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations for US balance sheet accounts
- FP&A Deliverables - Variances, Forecast, Budget
- Prepare schedules needed for the quarterly BS analysis
- Work with teams on Intercompany related transactions
- Ad-hoc analytics and assist on projects as needed
- Assist with external audit needs
- Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders across the company
