We are seeking a Project Estimator to meticulously review blueprints, specifications, and related documentation for precise cost estimates on large roofing projects.

Responsibilities include analyzing project requirements and generating comprehensive estimates for storm restoration work, presenting estimates to project teams, and supporting the Director of Commercial Roofing and Claims Manager in bidding accurately on residential and commercial projects while assisting with daily operational tasks.

Key Accountabilities :

• Review blueprints, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for large roofing projects.
• Analyze project requirements, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors’ costs, to determine project expenses.
• Complete full scope itemized estimates for storm restoration work using Xactimate and / or other estimating programs.
• Present cost estimates to project team and provide explanations when necessary.
• Support the Director of Commercial Roofing and Claims Manager in accurate bidding of residential and commercial work, along with assisting in daily operations or tasks as delegated.

Requirements :

• 2+ years of project management or project estimation experience in the Roofing Industry.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and independent decision-making ability.
• Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in construction.
• Experience in roofing and related trades, including estimating for residential and commercial projects.
