Job Responsibilities

Summary : Responsible for designing Controls & Automation engineering projects, potentially leading or supporting project teams under general supervision.

• Follow department standards and policies.
• Understand project scope, specifications, and design criteria.
• Communicate scope and design changes promptly.
• Assist on-site during startup.
• Guide less experienced engineers.
• Coordinate activities with team members and leaders.
• Produce system architecture designs and bill of materials.
• Create installation specifications and conceptual layouts.
• Design control systems emphasizing maintainability and client expectations.
• Collaborate with other disciplines for smooth project flow.
• Review vendor and fabrication drawings.
• Gather field data and control system configurations.
• Apply discipline-specific methods and techniques.
• Estimate and schedule professional hours, assess programming progress and quality.
• Develop small work packages for interoffice support.

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor or Master in Chemical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.

Registration : PE registration preferred.

Experience : Minimum 3 years in controls and automation engineering.
