Job Overview
The Eligibility Specialist II is responsible for entering, reviewing, accepting, scrubbing, and correcting encounters in the EPIC Practice Management System . This position requires entering patients' demographics, insurance verification, and recertification, and compiling patient encounter data materials . This position also includes making outbound calls to patients and assisting patients through inbound calls. Prepares communication to clinics, reports, and records as needed.
Minimum Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of two years' experience required in a clerical environment.
Minimum of one year Customer Service experience required (preferably in a clinical environment).
Experience in validating eligibility with healthcare plans is required .
Compensation
$25.00 - $29.32 hourly
