Yes Unit Culture : Family Oriented, Excellent Teamwork Patient Types / Common Diagnoses : COPD / Pulmonary Diseases, Heart Failure, Cardiac Arrhythmias, Renal Failure, Sepsis, ETOH / CIWA and IVDA, tracheostomies requiring mechanical ventilation, continuous BIPAP / CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, hypothermia regulation, and titratable IV drips Patient Ratios : RN : 1 : 3-4 CNA : 1 : 9 Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and / or Insurance : RN : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Skills required : RN : Experience with the above patients, experience with trached / vented patients, temporary / transvenous pacemaker, cardiac gtt experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, trach care, blood products, wound care / dressing changes, etc. Technology / Equipment : EMR : EPIC IV Pump : Alaris Med dispensing : Omnicell Monitors : Phillips Rover Communication Virtual Nursing (helps with Admission / Discharge, Virtual Observation of patients, can sign off as RN witness for certain meds) Floating : Within region and scope of practice Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main CMC Mercy Levine Children’s Hospital) If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock) Excite Health Partners Job ID 168935.
