Job descriptionDesire to work with children and families. Are committed to a fast-paced work environment with new challenges and opportunities daily. Someone who is enthusiastic about being a team player. Qualified candidates will have an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. OR a Bachelor's degree in any field plus two additional courses in Education (or be willing to complete these within first 3 months of employment; available free, self-paced, online). OR 60 credits towards a degree in any field, of which 30 credit hours are early childhood education or related field. Additional post-employment coursework may be required to work for certain positions. Two weeks Paid Vacation in the first year (split at 6 months / 1 year). Paid Sick days after 90 days worked. Paid Holidays, effective on hire. Retirement plan available on hire, with up to 3% match. Paid planning time weekly (2 hours / week away from classroom). Competitive wage based on education and experience. Raises for completing required courses (if applicable). Childcare discounts. And much more.
Our center is looking for a Lead Twos Teacher to join our teaching team.
Some responsibilities are :
- Lesson plan creation and implementation.
- Use of positive guidance techniques.
- Build and maintain parent / teacher relationships.
- Evaluate, observe, and develop each child's abilities.
- Create a caring community where families feel welcome.
