Description :
The Digital Transformation Consultant (Workflow Standardization) will partner with leaders across the IT team to implement modern processes, procedures, and workflows.
This role ensures that IT projects are completed effectively, efficiently, and in a standardized fashion.
The consultant will identify process and workflow optimization opportunities.
They will design solutions to standardize and automate workflows.
The consultant will oversee workflow and process implementation and internal change management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workflow optimization and process standardization.
They should possess a proven ability to enhance efficiency within technology operations.
Essential Responsibilities / Duties :
Partner with IT leaders and staff across various teams to assess existing IT processes.
Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for standardization and improvement.
Facilitate meetings and workshops with IT staff to collect feedback on existing processes.
Design standardized end-to-end project workflows based on assessments and interviews.
Research and recommend software solutions and improvements for ideal-state workflows.
Document process maps and workflow designs clearly using flowchart software.
Collaborate with IT leadership to create an implementation and change management plan.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate staff on new workflows.
Monitor the rollout of process enhancement work and provide ongoing support.
Measure the performance of implemented solutions to ensure they meet organizational needs.
Coordinate resources, timeline, and budgets associated with process improvement work.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement with ongoing process evaluations.
Stay current with industry trends and technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
