Job Summary :
As a Server at Casa Tua, you are the face of our guest experience. You will be responsible for creating memorable dining moments through attentive service, in-depth menu knowledge, and warm hospitality. You will engage with guests, guide them through the culinary offerings, and ensure their satisfaction from start to finish—all while maintaining the pace and polish of an upscale restaurant.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable food and beverage service to all guests
- Guide guests through our Italian-Mediterranean menu with confidence and enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the Toast POS system
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery
- Utilize suggestive selling techniques to highlight specials, pairings, and enhancements
- Maintain service standards and follow the restaurant’s steps of service consistently
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and professionally to all requests
- Present checks, handle payments, and complete end-of-service tasks with efficiency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and polished work area at all times
- Assist with table settings, resets, and accommodating large parties as needed
- Be a proactive team player—support your teammates to ensure seamless service
- Participate in pre-service meetings and ongoing training to grow and improve skills
- Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements :
3+ years of restaurant experience in the hospitality industry, Private Member Club experience preferred.Michelin restaurant experience preferredMust have excellent knowledge of fine dining room and service procedures and functionsOutstanding guest service skillsBe able to communicate clearly and effectivelyMust be a team player / work well with othersPossess basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate a POS systemProfessional presentation and positive attitudeAbility to stand or walk for long periods of timeAbility to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysAbility to work in a high-volume environmentNYC Food Handlers Permit and TIPS certification preferred
