Position : SQL Server developer with AWS Cloud Migration Upgrade experience

Overview :

We are seeking a skilled SQL Server Developer with extensive experience in database upgrades and cloud migration to join our dynamic team . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL Server development, expertise in upgrading database versions, and hands-on experience with AWS cloud services to support our cloud migration initiatives and ongoing database management .

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Lead and execute database upgrade projects from older versions of SQL Server to newer releases, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity .
• Migrate existing on- premises SQL Server databases to AWS cloud environments, such as Amazon RDS, Aurora, or EC2-based solutions .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design effective database schemas, stored procedures, scripts, and queries.
• Implement and monitor database security, backup & recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and index management.
• Develop automation scripts and processes for deployment, backup, and maintenance tasks.
• Document database architecture, procedures, and standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly.
• Provide technical guidance on best practices for cloud-based database architecture and migration.
