Laboratory Technician - Charlotte, NC

This is a Salary Non-Exempt position

Job Summary :

The successful candidate must be able to work a 2PM-10PM shift. Under limited supervision, conducts in-process and finished product testing to determine adherence to established specifications of quality and purity. Attendance and punctuality is required.

Essential Job Functions :

• Conduct laboratory tests and analyze data for a variety of purposes, such as production, quality control, and minor research.
• Test and analyze products such as flour and wheat products to determine if product meets plant specifications prior to release.
• Release within specification vessels and report out of specification vessels.
• Document results of testing in Total Lab Client (TLC).
• Complete Certificates of Analyses. Prepare chemical solutions for use in the lab.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and related field instrumentation.
• Maintains awareness and adheres to all FDA, GMP, EPA, OSHA, and employer standards and guidelines.
• Support and comply with all food safety, quality, and legality requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
