The Opportunity
LeoLabs is hiring a Senior Radar Signal Processing Engineer to architect, develop, implement, and deploy new digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms on our proliferated network of phased-array radars. Through developing new signal processing algorithms, you will actively contribute to growing the utility, application, and mission impact of LeoLabs' radars. You will join the Radar Systems team, and report to the Senior Manager of Radar Systems.
Qualifications
Able to hold a USA security clearance
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or another technical field
Minimum of 5 years of on the job experience in sensor data processing
Significant, demonstrable experience using Python, C, or C++
Demonstrated experience in the design, development, and deployment of DSP algorithms
Preferred Qualifications
Experience prototyping DSP algorithms in Python or Matlab
Experience in developing and deploying DSP algorithms for GPUs
Deploying to and debugging production algorithms

Develop and implement advanced DSP algorithms for the real-time processing of phased-array radar data
Lead a deployment of your own code to the radar network
Join our on-call rotation, supporting our global network of radars
Within 6 Months
Select DSP architectures that optimize data throughput
Work on developing new modes of radar tracking
Develop solutions to help get the most out of each radar in our network
Within 12 Months
Be responsible for all parts of the LeoLabs DSP Pipeline
Make performance improvements to our processing to scale to new radar designs
Work on processing untasked radar modes
Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location. The base salary range for this position $156,000 - 180,000
