Bus Driver
Catholic schools in the Diocese of Austin are canonically obedient to the Bishop and assist him in fulfilling his ministry and canonical obligations.
Pastors, presidents, and principals serve as leaders of the schools to make Christ's mission present and enduring in the schools.
To fulfill Christ's mission, the principal employs suitable, chosen collaborators. The principal shares with them Christ's mission and entrusts various responsibilities to them.
Job Description Duties : Minimum Qualifications :
- Must be at least 25 years of age.
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
- Applicant must be certified as per the following : a valid State of Texas issued driver's license AND a valid State of Texas commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Must be an insured driver.
- This position requires understanding of Texas motor vehicle laws.
- Minimum 2 years experience driving a school bus.
- Applicant must be able to read and write in English.
- Applicant must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with school officials. Applicant must foster an environment of cooperation and respect with the students.
- A motor vehicle record check and a criminal background check will be performed.
