Location : Memphis, Tennessee (38104) – Tennessee nursing jobs\n

Healthcare Setting : Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center\n

Unit : 5 NORTH, Medical Surgical\n

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing\n

Start Dates : 11 / 17 / 2025 or 12 / 3 / 2025\n

End Date : 2 / 16 / 2026\n

Duration : 13-week contract\n

Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)\n

Hours per Week : 36 (option for 48 hours available)\n

Weekend & On-Call : As needed\n

Patient Ratio : 1 : 7 (team nursing model with PCC, LPN, and clinical support)\n

Orientation : 16 hours\n

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780 - $1910\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

2+ years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience (3+ years preferred)\n

Previous travel nurse assignment completed\n

Level I Trauma Center and large hospital experience required\n

Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state (Tennessee healthcare jobs)\n

ADN or BSN accepted (BSN required for select units)\n

Cerner charting experience preferred\n

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)\n

Must reside at least 100 miles from facility (local candidates not eligible)\n

Compliance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) guidelines\n

Willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays if assignment overlaps\n

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with application\n

\n\nMedical Surgical RN Responsibilities\n \n

Provide high-quality nursing care to medical surgical patients in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment\n

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members including PCCs, LPNs, and clinical support staff\n

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress\n

Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed\n

Float between similar units and campuses within 20 miles as needed\n

Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures\n

Participate in orientation and ongoing nurse training\n

Adapt to changing patient ratios and team nursing models\n
