Description :
Provides direct and indirect patient care to clinic patients and their families utilizing nursing processes.
Conducts comprehensive patient assessments, develops and implements nursing care plans, and provides patient education.
Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in the assigned area.
Develops, implements, and coordinates an optimal interdisciplinary plan of care.
Incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors into patient care.
Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their families, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communication.
Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Daily patient visits are approximately 25, with an emphasis on various surgical specialties.
Interdisciplinary support is integral to care delivery.
Special procedures include cardiac, hepatobiliary, ophthalmology, general surgery, gynecology, orthopedic spine, neurosurgery, and robotic surgery among others.
Familiarity with advanced surgical systems and equipment is necessary.
Rotation may require weekend coverage.
Required to float to other locations if needed, based on patient census.
