Job descriptionLead and mentor a team of Supplier Quality Managers and SQEs across U.S. and Puerto Rico sites. Develop strategic supplier quality initiatives to strengthen long-term relationships and improve performance. Ensure suppliers meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and performance objectives Oversee supplier changes to products and processes, while monitoring continuous improvement efforts. Drive supplier audits, investigations, and risk assessments to mitigate compliance and quality issues. Guide the design, development, and qualification of new materials, processes, and products from concept through market release. Direct feasibility studies, design validation, and documentation processes throughout the product lifecycle. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely delivery and operational excellence. Provide strategic leadership through coaching, performance management, and prioritization of departmental initiatives. Travel up to 25% to support supplier sites and cross-functional alignment. Bachelor's degree required (advanced degree preferred). 10+ years of relevant Supplier Quality Engineering and Manufacturing experience (internal & external). 7+ years of managerial experience leading technical teams. Strong knowledge of medical device quality systems, supplier management, and regulatory requirements Proven success in developing supplier partnerships, driving performance improvements, and managing audits. Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
