Responsibilities :

• Observes production machinery and troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues to locate causes and repair them.
• Dismantles machinery and mechanical equipment to remove defective parts; repairs or replaces the defective parts, using hand tools and power tools.
• Determines and orders appropriate materials and parts needed for service / repair of equipment and facility.
• Lubricates and cleans machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Wears all required personal protective equipment.
• Assures and participates in all plant safety / accident prevention policies. This includes maintaining a safe work environment and follows safe work practices.
• Maintains housekeeping of work areas.
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor.
