\nNO LOCAL CANIDATES (40 MILE RADIUS RULE)

\nContract Length : 13 weeks

\nStart : 12 / 15 - Bi-weekly orientation

\nGuaranteed hours : 48

\nPrimary location : Henderson

\nShift Requirement : 12hr Nights 6 : 30-7

\nFloat Requirement : First to float within skillset. 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible.

\nOn Call / Call Back Requirement : N / A

\nWeekend / Holiday Requirement : Every third weekend. Every other holiday.

\nRequired Certs to be attached upon submittal : Must have current active compact license. AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS.\n\nMinimum Experience REQUIRED : Two years of strong Med / Surg, 1 travel assignment.

\nCharting Experience : Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)

\nPatient Population :  General M / S : gallbladder, colectomy, appey, hip / knee replacements / ORIFs, Covid, GI bleeds, CHF, COPD, sepsis, UTI, respiratory.

\nSkillset : PIV insertion, chest tube / indwelling drain management, CBI, drip management (heparin, cardizem), PEGs / NGs, ostomy care, remote tele, blood product administration, NIHSS / dysphagia screen, Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills! Hard worker, resilient and manages change well, social candidates.\n\nUnit Information : 45 beds.  Ratio : Days 1 : 4-5; NOCs 1 : 5-7; CN takes full assignment on nights and may take patients on days.
