About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Institutional Research to provide strategic leadership and coordination in support of the institution's mission, planning, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the Institutional Research team, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and external reporting requirements, and leveraging institutional data to inform business decisions. This role involves developing and implementing effective data collection and reporting strategies, as well as fostering a culture of data-informed decision-making. The Executive Director will also be a key advisor in strategic planning, staying abreast of higher education trends, and possessing expertise in various data analysis measures.
Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Master's degree, with a Bachelor's degree and extensive experience in institutional research considered. A minimum of 3-5 years' experience with large, longitudinal data sets, prior senior management or relevant leadership experience, and strong proficiency in MS Excel, statistical software, and query tools are required. Experience with reporting software such as Tableau and an understanding of enterprise systems is also necessary. The ideal candidate will have a background in higher education, excellent analytical and project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The role demands excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently and lead a team.
