As a Screener in a government location, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to the public, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This position requires driving as part of your daily duties. What You'll Do :

Serve as a screener at a government location, following site-specific policies and procedures to carry out security-related screening activities.

Provide customer service to visitors and staff by answering questions and assisting with entry procedures in a professional manner.

Conduct screening of individuals and / or packages entering the premises, utilizing approved methods and equipment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Maintain detailed records of screening activities, incidents, and any irregularities observed during the shift.

Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to help to deter unauthorized access and / or prohibited items.

Support emergency response activities as needed, based on site-specific requirements and instructions from supervisors.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

A minimum of three years' combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
