Compensation

At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $103510- $137121.6. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C's annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.

Are you passionate about Electrical and Mechanical Laboratories? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Electrical and Mechanical Labs team. As a Project Test Engineer , you'll be crucial in ensuring continued innovation and supporting our diverse team.

The Project Test Engineer is responsible for designing, planning, and executing tests on switchgear products and / or their components to evaluate their performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing test procedures, analyzing test data, and providing insights to support product development and quality improvement efforts. The role involves leading small and medium scale projects to improve test capabilities, and to maintain the lab's facilities and processes. The Project Test Engineer will report to Senior Manager - NJC Laboratories.

Key Responsibilities :

Train S&C team members on the lab's processes, equipment, and test methods to ensure that the lab has the relevant skills needed to meet testing demand and operate efficiently.

Design, develop, and implement new laboratory instrumentation and control systems. Specify and recommend the purchase of new test equipment and software.

Identify opportunities to enhance test methodology, equipment, and processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the lab.

Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.
