Job Description Summary
The Electrical Power System Analysis Lead Engineer will serve as the prime technical focal responsible for the system analysis of GE Aerospace's hybrid electric architecture studies. The individual will oversee technical integrity of electrical power system models through the lifecycle of development, maturation, and sustainment to have a robust tool set to be used for system design, validation, and verification. The role reports to the Hybrid Electric Electrical Components Manager within the GE Aerospace Future of Flight Organization and is essential towards the safe and effective execution of GE Aerospace's suite of hybrid electric technology maturation programs. These programs serve as the foundational platforms for maturing hybrid electric and other technologies central to the realization of the aviation industry's sustainability goals in the first half of the 21st century.
Successful GE Aerospace electrical power system engineers possess a diversity of educational backgrounds including, but not limited to : electrical, mechanical, systems, and controls engineering.
