Our client, a well-established, litigation boutique, is looking for a commercial litigator to join its growing practice. Position summary :
The ideal candidate will have strong experience handling business disputes such as contract litigation, partnership / shareholder disputes, and corporate / enterprise-level matters from discovery through motion practice, trials, and appeals. The role offers significant responsibility, early client interaction, meaningful courtroom exposure, and the chance to work alongside senior litigators on sophisticated matters.
Key responsibilities :
- Manage a caseload of commercial litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, discovery responses and motions.
- Assist in trial preparation and attend / participate in trial, arbitration or mediation as needed.
- Work on appellate matters or support appellate strategy.
- Collaborate closely with partners and senior associates to develop legal strategy, analyze risk, and provide client-facing updates.
Candidate profile / qualifications :
J.D. from an accredited law school, admitted to the Texas bar or eligible for admission.3-6 years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm setting.Demonstrated strong writing, research and advocacy skills.Strong academic credentials and an excellent ability to manage competing priorities with an eye toward efficient, client-sensitive representation.What the firm offers :
