About the Role :

As a Cable Technician, you'll be on the front lines of building and maintaining the backbone of modern communication systems. This is a hands-on, field-based, blue-collar roleperfect for someone who takes pride in pulling cable with precision, working hard, and seeing a job done right. You'll install, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of low-voltage systems, including structured cabling, fire alarms, surveillance systems, access control, and more.

We're looking for someone with grit and follow-througha team player who's not afraid to get their hands dirty and who can be counted on to show up, follow through, and put customers first.

Key Responsibilities :

• Pull, terminate, label, and test structured cable (Cat6, fiber, coax) in commercial environments
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot low-voltage systems :
• Fire alarm, access control, surveillance, intrusion, and commercial phone systems
• Deliver high-quality, on-time installations according to safety and project specifications
• Communicate professionally with clients, keeping them informed and confident in our work
• Work cross-functionally with team members and subcontractors to ensure project success
• Diagnose and resolve issues using tools such as VOMs, analyzers, and DB meters
• Follow all applicable state and local codes and company policies
• Provide technical support both in-person and over the phone
• Pitch in on any task needed to get the job donefrom ladder work to cleanup

Requirements :

Minimum of 2 years experience in low-voltage or structured cabling

Associate degree in Electronics, Communications, or similar field preferredor 2+ years of hands-on experience

Manufacturer certification in at least one supported technology within first year

Strong proficiency in using diagnostic / programming tools and Microsoft software

Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Physically capable of lifting up to 60 lbs, climbing ladders, kneeling, and working in various field conditions

Willingness to work after-hours and be part of an on-call rotation

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation : $40,000 – $55,000 / year (based on experience)
