What You’ll Be Doing
Spend 3–4 days per week in the field on swing stage construction; 1 day in the office.Perform quality assurance and quality reviews for technical deliverables.Conduct field investigations into failures involving foundations, structures, building envelopes, roofs, and other systems.Analyze construction defects and infrastructure failures in line with engineering codes and industry standards.Provide design support, compile plans / specs, and coordinate proposal requests.Deliver special inspections for construction projects.Prepare unbiased technical reports that document causes of failure, extent of damage, recommended remediation, and associated costs.Coordinate directly with clients and participate in marketing / business development efforts.Deliver presentations and attend client meetings / board sessions.Stay current by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and engaging in professional societies.Ensure on-time deliverables and provide solutions when schedules are at risk.Monitor industry trends and help enhance deliverable quality to exceed competitors.What You Bring
Education & Credentials : Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering; EIT certification required .Technical Skills : Strong foundation in structural assessments, forensic investigations, and construction systems.Communication : Ability to write clear, concise reports for both technical and lay audiences.Client-Facing Experience : Comfortable coordinating directly with clients and presenting findings.Drive to Grow : Interest in developing litigation support skills and building long-term client relationships.Perks & Benefits
