Memory Support Manager

With direction and support, the Memory Support Manager coordinates the memory support program to ensure that the physical, social & emotional needs of the residents and their families are met. As a representative and team member of the company, this position is expected to present oneself in a manner that reflects professionalism and ensures resident satisfaction.

Salary : $50,000-$68,000 depending on experience

Duties include :

• Oversee team members in the Memory Support Neighborhoods of both Personal Care and Skilled Nursing
• Leads by example and collaborates with the clinical team and Recreational Therapy Manager to ensure team members engage residents in programs
• Collaborate with Clinical partners, including Personal Care Administrator and Director of Nursing, to coordinate and ensure positive resident care within the Memory Support Neighborhoods
• Provide orientation for new residents and family members
• Facilitate and promote support and / or educational groups for residents and families
• Communicates with resident family members in a respectful and caring manner and provides information regarding residents’ daily life as appropriate; uses tactful, diplomatic communication techniques in potentially sensitive or emotionally charged situations;
