Schedule Notes :

10-hour night shift, rotating weekends, on-call

Duties :

Under the supervision of a nurse leader (CNO, Clinical Director, Supervisor, or Nurse Leader), independently prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care for acutely ill patients. Performs the nursing process through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of safe, therapeutic care in accordance with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, ANA Code of Ethics, and the California Nurse Practice Act.

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Depending on assignment, additional certificates of competency may be required as a condition of employment.

Minimum 3 years of experience.

Valid and unrestricted State of California Registered Nurse (RN) License.

Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Must meet all health requirements designated by Kern Medical Center.
