Job description

We are seeking a board-certified Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment in South Carolina. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, spans a 3-day assignment, and involves supervising pediatric dental cases during scheduled sedation days. The schedule consists of one 8a - 5p shift per month, available on either Tuesday or Thursday depending on provider availability.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Supervise pediatric patients during sedation for dental procedures
  • Oversee and manage pediatric dental cases requiring anesthesia
  • Ensure patient safety and monitor vital signs throughout sedation
  • Collaborate with dental staff to deliver effective care

    • Additional Information

  • Current South Carolina medical license required
  • Board certification in Anesthesiology required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
  • Experience supervising pediatric dental cases strongly preferred
