Production Manager of Data Services

The Production Manager of Data Services is a critical role that oversees all activities within the Data Services organization.

This position will interface directly with the data services team providing resource management and migration support, while supporting the PMO and Sales organizations, and serving as the primary voice of the data services team as it relates to needs, whether that be equipment, software, or staffing adjustments.

The Production Manager will also provide proposals and data services quotes / level of effort documents as needed.

Must be able to manage multiple projects and resources simultaneously, define quality control measures, and be responsible for each project’s profitability.   Duties and responsibilities Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Establish workflows and processes within the data services team to provide standard operating procedures within the department.

Compile project communication plan template and workflow to educate customers on data migration project expectations.

Manage team to ensure productivity is maintained and necessary roadblocks are identified and removed (report roadblocks to Executive Director for resolution).

Provide resource management and determine the schedule of resource availability to promote project success.

Where possible, minimize active projects per team member to allow for project focus and effectiveness.

Provide migration support to data team members as needed to remove roadblocks or resolve issues at hand.

Interact with the PMO and Sales organizations to provide proposal and level of effort documents for project pricing.

Serve as the voice of the organization to the Executive Director of Professional Services as it relates to needs, recognition of team members, etc. as necessary.

Operate as the technical lead for script development and tool enhancement to better support the team going forward.

Enhance Telecom Generator, Hydrate, and other tools to support the overall organization.
