Job descriptionPerform screening and diagnostic mammograms as ordered by physicians or licensed providers. Ensure imaging quality, safety, and patient confidentiality. Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Operate mammography and related imaging equipment in accordance with protocol. Collaborate with Radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain compliance with regulatory standards (ARRT, ACR, state, and federal requirements). Ensure equipment is clean, maintained, and functioning properly. Provide education to patients about the procedure and answer any questions they may have. Education : Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program. Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience in Mammography. Certifications / Licensure : MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist) : Licensed by the Texas. ARRT-R : American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography certification. ARRT-M : Mammography certification.

Job Summary
The Mammography Technologist performs advanced breast imaging procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients under the general supervision of a Radiologist. The technologist ensures high-quality imaging for the diagnosis of disease and injury, following established protocols and ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.
