Job descriptionConduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Support the completion and filing of incident and injury reports; assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions. Regulatory Compliance : Maintain and update SDS (Safety Data Sheet) documentation and chemical inventories. Participate in environmental reporting and permit compliance tasks. Training and Education : Keep records of all safety training, certifications, and compliance documentation. Assist in emergency response planning and drills. Support hazard identification and risk assessments throughout the facility. Promote proactive safety measures and continuous improvement. Reporting & Documentation : Prepare safety communications such as toolbox talks, safety alerts, and bulletin boards. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 1–3 years of experience in an EHS or related role. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental laws. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification preferred.

Job Summary :
The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator supports the development, implementation, and enforcement of health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure a safe and compliant workplace. This role assists in training employees, conducting audits, investigating incidents, and promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout the organization. This position does require travel to our other facilities located outside of Indiana.
Key Responsibilities :
- Safety Program Support :
Assist in the development and implementation of site-specific safety policies, procedures, and training materials.
Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and local safety and environmental regulations.
Deliver or coordinate employee training in safety topics such as PPE usage, emergency procedures, hazard communication, and more.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, safety meetings, injuries, and training.
