Job Summary (List Format) :

\n

\n- Position : Registered Nurse (MS / Tele Unit)

\n- Schedule : 3x12 hour shifts, Nights (7p-7a), Every other weekend, holidays as needed

\n- Floating : Required between all Cone Health campuses as needed

\n- Experience : Minimum 2 years RN experience required (First-time travelers accepted)

\n- Certifications : BLS required; previous Charge RN experience preferred

\n- Key Responsibilities :

\n- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

\n- Use of rapid response teams

\n- Peripheral line care management

\n- Nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank use, non-invasive airway management

\n- Implementation of isolation precautions

\n- Use of EPIC electronic medical records

\n- Patient Population :

\n- Observation patients

\n- Respiratory conditions (Oxygen up to 6L NC / facemask; trach collar ≤40%)

\n- General medical-surgical cases

\n- Palliative, end-of-life, hospice care

\n- Psychiatric observation

\n- Diabetes management (including new / complicated cases)

\n- Surgical and surgical observation patients

\n- Additional Requirements :

\n- Must pass EKG exam (Pass / Fail) regardless of specialty

\n- Must comply with strict attendance policies (zero-tolerance for tardiness / unexcused absences)

\n- Compliance deadline : 12 Noon EST Wednesday prior to start date

\n

\n Note : This is a medical-surgical unit posted as MS / Tele due to EKG requirement; primary patient population is MS.
