American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring at least 2 years of IR or Cath Lab experience and active IN or Compact RN licensure.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in the Interventional Radiology (IR) department of a short-term acute care hospitalPatients include those requiring heart catheterizations, interventional radiology procedures, and minor cardiac ablationsSiemens lab equipment is used in this unitCharting is done using Cerner EMR and proficiency is requiredDay shift (4x10 hours), 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PMCall is required, including every 4th weekend and one night per week, with a 30-minute response timeFloating required within the hospital and to nearby affiliate hospitalsDuties include circulating during procedures, supporting heart caths, and minor cardiac ablationsAll travelers required to float as needed within the hospital or to affiliate locationsFirst time travelers are acceptedAny former perm or PRN employee must be separated from IU Health for at least 12 months before applying as a travelerCandidates are required to work at least 2 of the 3 major holidays during the assignmentFree parking is availableUp to 5 days of non-holiday requested time off (RTO) can be auto-approved; more requires facility approvalIN RN travel ban does not apply to Periop / OR, IR RN, Cath Lab RN, Endo, PACU, and SDS travelers\n \n Requirements\n
