As they continue to grow, they're looking for a Tax Manager to help lead their tax practice, support their expanding client base, and shape the future of the firm. In order to be considered for this role, you will need to be located two hours or less from Austin, TX.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage tax planning, preparation, and compliance for individuals, partnerships, S corps, and small businesses
• Review and file federal, state, and local tax returns
• Conduct client meetings to provide strategic tax advice and planning
• Manage a growing team of junior staff and contractors
• Implement and improve workflows using cloud-based accounting tools
• Stay current on tax law changes and apply them proactively for client benefit
• Build strong relationships with clients and serve as a trusted advisor

Requirements :

CPA license

5+ years of experience in public accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role

Strong knowledge of federal and Texas tax law

Experience with Lacerte, Xero / QBO, and other cloud-based tools preferred

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in helping shape a growing firm

Located within 2 hours of Austin
