Junior Accountant

About the Opportunity :

  • Salary range : $55,000-70,000.

What the Junior Accountant will do :

  • Record daily transactions, including sales, expenses, vendor invoices, deposits, etc.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, POS systems, and merchant accounts
  • Prepare internal financial statements, monthly P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis
  • Assist with sales tax, sales reporting, and regulatory compliance

    • What the company needs in a Junior Accountant :

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks Desktop, Micros, Shift4, Toast, TripleSeat, Uber, DoorDash, Grubhub are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel (data analysis, formulas, pivot tables.
  • Restaurant experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
