Account Manager - B2C

On-site (Peabody, MA)

Job Type : Full-Time

Tuesday to Friday - 12 noon 9 : 00 PM (EST) AND Saturdays 9 AM 6 PM (EST) (1 hour lunch)

Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated B2C Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers calling in to request quotes, schedule car shipments, and receive support for their vehicle transport needs. This position requires exceptional communication skills, a strong sales mindset, and the ability to thrive in ahigh-volume inbound call environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls from individual customers nationwide regarding vehicle transportation services.
  • Serve as the main point of contact throughout the customer journey from initial inquiry, quoting a price to bookingcar delivery.
  • Generate quotes, present pricing options, and close sales while delivering excellent service and building trust.
  • Proactively manage accounts by updating customers on shipment status, handling changes, and addressing any service concerns.
  • Educate customers on service options, delivery timelines, insurance, and company policies to ensure clarity and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, and orders in the

CargoTel

system.

  • Collaborate closely with the operations and dispatch teams to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets, conversion goals, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in B2C account management, inside sales, or high-volume customer service (preferably in transportation, logistics, or related industries).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in an inbound sales environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and call management tools.
  • High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Their expertise in automotive transportation includes Seasonal Residents, Recreational Vehicles, Dealerships, Overseas / International shipments, as well as Private Party Shipping.
