Senior Network Engineer (Remote - US)

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in a large-scale enterprise network transformation initiative, implementing advanced routing solutions and next-generation network architectures. You will lead hands-on migrations, design EVPN / VXLAN fabrics, and ensure high-performance, scalable, and redundant network operations. This role combines technical expertise with strategic execution, offering the opportunity to influence architecture decisions while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will work in a dynamic, high-impact environment, contributing directly to cutting-edge network initiatives for a major organization.

Accountabilities

• Lead the planning, prioritization, and execution of enterprise-scale router migrations and network cutovers.
• Design, validate, and implement EVPN / VXLAN architectures with multiple overlays for scalability, redundancy, and performance.
• Collaborate with network engineering teams to ensure smooth integration and minimal disruption during transitions.
• Configure, test, and deploy Junos OS on MX and EX platforms in production environments.
• Provide expert guidance on migrations from MC-LAG to EVPN, including design validation, troubleshooting, and post-migration support.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network designs, cutover strategies, and operational processes.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Juniper routing, EVPN / VXLAN fabrics, and advanced routing protocols.
• Support critical events, including after-hours cutovers and escalations as needed.
