Core Responsibilities

Reads production schedule and identify the right pickle for the right meat

Injects product with the right pickle

Performs various checks and documentation of data

Verifies that needles and blades are in good working condition

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Knowledge and experience in Meat Industry is preferred, but not required

Competent and trustworthy to comply with federal inspection programs and company safety and health policies.

Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Be available to work scheduled hours, which may include mandatory overtime, depending upon production demands.

Mechanical aptitude preferred, but not required

Must be able to perform Lockout / Tag out

Must be able to operate PIT (Power Industrial Tools)

Must be able to read production schedule

Must be able to know basic Math

Computer literate

Detail oriented

Being able to understand and follow oral and written instruction from supervisors and designated staff
