PRN Speech Therapist

Lakehouse Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and skilled

• Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• to join our therapy team PRN. While prior experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) is preferred, we are most interested in finding the right person with the right attitude and skillset. • Key Responsibilities :
• Provide high-quality speech therapy services to patients of the facility, focusing on improving communication, cognitive-linguistic skills, and swallowing functions.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Educate and train staff, residents, and families on speech therapy techniques, swallowing therapy, and medical diets.
• Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills to ensure effective treatment delivery.
• Exhibit curiosity and creativity in problem-solving and therapy interventions.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members to foster a collaborative and supportive environment.
• What We're Looking For :
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current licensure (or eligibility) in Minnesota.
• SNF experience preferred but not required - we welcome applicants with a passion for learning and growing in the field.
• Strong clinical skills with an interest in education and training others.
• A positive attitude, empathy, and a commitment to teamwork.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
