POSITION OVERVIEW :
Responsible for generating new sales for our Aftermarket Services group. Primary geographic areas of focus to be greater Chicagoland area, The Aftermarket Service Estimator contacts new prospective customers as well as existing clients to grow our Planned Maintenance and Service contracts revenue.
The Aftermarket Service Estimator reports directly to the Aftermarket General Manager.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by reports, specifications, and related documents
- Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements
- Daily activities will be working with the Director of Aftermarket Services
- Demonstrate industry techniques and knowledge of best business practice by applying innovative planned maintenance programs.
- Create customize planned maintenance proposals according to the equipment on-site, and location to increase the customer’s overall profitability, productivity and uptime, and safety.
- Develop proposals that include technical and functional descriptions of services provided and clear description of the Customer Experience .
- Follow-up on all proposals, negotiate with the client until deal is closed. Identify technical and commercial risks for customer and CSI, provide mitigating solutions.
- Prepare and perform client presentations articulating the value proposition of planned service offerings.
- Create repeat customers and provide the highest level of customer service and support Customer Experience
- Utilize a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to track the sales cycle. Develop new customer relationships by identifying business needs and future plans, and educating key decision makers.
- Work to gather information from customers through site visits, phone conversations and electronic communication.
- When possible perform site visits to existing maintenance agreement customers to make sure we are meeting their expectations.
- Send otr contract renewals promptly and follow up as needed to ensure high closer rate
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in sales and company meetings, trade shows, workshops, seminars, and professional organizations.
- Track and share knowledge of competitor activities, products, systems, services, prices, and other market conditions / trends to increase market penetration and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Provide leads for customer’s other material handling needs to the appropriate direct sales or corporate sales contact.

Ability to efficiently manage time, priorities and tasks to ensure we are best serving our customers.
EDUCATION
Associates degree in Business or Accounting and / or related degree / experience
EXPERIENCE
3+ years’ experience in technical sales or service support role
Material handling service support experience required
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES
Must possess valid Drivers’ License.
TECHNICAL / COMPUTER SKILLS
Ability and Desire to Learn!
Required Computer Skills : Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet
Proficient user of presentation tools (MS PowerPoint)
MATH SKILLS / REASONING ABILITY
Strong mathematical skills and reasoning ability required
