Overview
Pear US has an immediate opportunity for a part-time Marketing Coordinator in our Naperville office. This position will support the Marketing Manager and the Great Lakes Region with a variety of business development and marketing responsibilities. The position will be approximately 20 hours per week with potential beyond that depending upon performance and current business needs.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a marketing or related bachelors degree and 1-3 years of experience, or 3-5 years of relevant A / E / C experience. Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite is required (hands-on experience with InDesign is required; Photoshop and Acrobat Pro are preferred). The candidate should possess excellent organizational and multitasking skills, be detail oriented, have knowledge of database concepts (such as Proliance and / or a CRM), have excellent time management skills, a basic understanding of marketing principles, and familiarity with A / E / C industry terminology and procedures. Possessing the Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) designation (or the ambition to earn it) is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
Coordinate regional marketing activities, including working with technical staff to develop marketing collateral and RFQ / RFP responses, including proposal team coordination, writing, editing, design and production.
Plan special events (groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings and more).
Manage public relations efforts with regional PR consultant and corporate marketing support.
Interface with the corporate marketing team as needed, including updating social media and regional website information.
Coordinate project photography.
Research target markets.
Be actively involved in professional and community organizations, including the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS).
