About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Certifications : ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC

Must-Have :

• Experience with central lines
• Experience with transvenous pacemakers
• Experience with chest tubes

Description :

This position involves working in the Emergency Room during night shifts.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma center is required.

First-time travelers are accepted if they have the necessary skill set.

Every other weekend commitment is required.

The clinician will float within the facility to meet needs.

Experience with central lines, transvenous pacemakers, and chest tubes is essential.

The patient population includes neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatrics.

The emergency room stabilizes trauma for transport but does not function as a trauma center.

Electronic charting is conducted using a specific software system.

Other essential skills include arterial line management, blood product administration, and management of dysrhythmias.

This role requires the ability to provide care for ventilated patients and conduct triage.

Candidates must be able to manage procedures including continuous IV sedation and phlebotomy.

The expectation is to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams during patient care.
