• Shift : Days, 3x12 hour shifts per week (36 hours / week)\n
• Weekend / Holiday : Every other weekend, holiday rotation required\n
• On Call : None\n
• Floating : May float across Behavioral Health units (adult, geriatric) and campuses\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,750 - $1,880\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license – required for Iowa healthcare jobs\n
• Current BLS (AHA) certification\n
• MOAB / MAB / CPI certification (must be obtained during onboarding if not active)\n
• Minimum 1 year of Pediatric or Adolescent Behavioral Health / Psychiatric nursing experience\n
• Completion of at least 1 travel nurse contract in the past 12 months (no first-time travelers)\n
• Ability to float across Behavioral Health units and campuses as needed\n
• Submission of work history / resume, recent skills checklist, license verification, required certifications, and supervisory reference\n\nTravel Nurse Responsibilities\n
• Deliver professional nursing care to pediatric patients in a Behavioral Health inpatient setting\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans\n
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care\n
• Support patients and families through behavioral health challenges\n
• Float to other Behavioral Health units (adult, geriatric) as needed\n
• Participate in holiday and weekend rotations as scheduled\n
